Limited Warranty

Saunders Machine Works (SMW) warrants to the Buyer that Products will not be defective in material or workmanship (the Limited Warranty). SMW is not liable for a breach of the limited warranty if:

  1. Buyer makes SMW aware of defect beyond 90 days of the original purchase date
  2. Buyer does not make reasonable effort to allow SMW to verify the defective claim
  3. The defect arises due to improper use
  4. Buyer or a third party modify or repair the Product
  5. Product was sold at a discounted rate (blem, used, scratch & dent, etc.)

The limited warranty does not cover defects, damage, or deterioration resulting from normal use and exposure (wear and tear).

SMW Products may contain, be contained in, be packaged with, or otherwise incorporate products manufactured by a third party. These third party products are not covered under the limited warranty, with the only warranty being that of the original manufacturer (if applicable).

Should a replacement be needed according to the limited warranty, SMW will coordinate & cover costs for shipping. The carrier will be chosen at SMW's discretion. Subject to SMW's discretion, buyer may be required to ship defective unit back to SMW via a return label included with the replacement product. Should a return of the defective product not be required, buyer agrees to never resell the defective unit.
