Johnny 5 at IMTS 2024!

That's right - if you'll be at IMTS 2024 in Chicago you'll be able to see J5 in person! Stop by the KERN booth to say hello.  (The Kern booth is South Building, Level 3 — 338719).

A special thank you to Kern for bringing J5 to IMTS!   Learn more about Kern here

Community Collaboration

Inspired by our participation in Project Egress, we reached out to the machinist & maker community for participation. An impressive amount of the parts in our Johnny 5 build are made by community collaborators, including makers and content creators Adam Savage and Alec Steele! Special thanks to all who participated and we're excited for the possibility of more collaboration as we continue our work on J5.

Input-Inc.

Input-Inc. is the team behind The J5 Project, spearheading the documentation, redesign, and building of movie-accurate Johnny Five robots from the Short Circuit films. It's thanks to their years of work that we're able to bring J5 to life ourselves!
