These plugs are great to keep crud out of the holes that are not used but since you need to basically stab them with a sharp pointed tool to pry them out I find that 1 of 3 end up so mangled that your parts wont sit flush on the plate if located above a boogered plug. This ends up requiring you to throw the plugs away more often than I hoped. I am not to thrilled to keep adding pointless plastic/rubber to landfills so maybe there could be a design improvement in the future? Otherwise they do what they were intended to do.

Must have for baseplates and pallets. Keeps chips from getting in holes. (You will get a sore thumb but worth it!)

Excellent, as is all Saunders's stuff! These are keeping my plate nice and clean. Just make sure you count how many holes are in your plate. I had to order a couple sets to saturate my plate.

I found this 2" thick piece of 6061 T6 at the scrap yard and turned it into a fixture plate that sits across two Pierson Pro Pallets. 832 holes if I remember correctly. I started using it right away and filled those holes up with junk, what a headache! The plugs are a must!

I purchased the fixture plate with my PCNC440. Have not used the machine many times but the fixture plugs make clean up very easy.

Takes a minute to get them in for the first time, but that time pays off after the first shift of work. Without the plugs, you will have your flow interrupted as you change setups. They seem like they will last indefinitely. All i can say is that it is perfect for what it is. They fill the holes in the fixture plate perfectly to keep coolant and chips out.

The plugs are something I highly underestimated the utility of. On my Shapeoko HDM I mill with a coolant mist. Without plugs clean-up even after a small part took forever. I'm so glad I bought these as I have measurably more time in a day now.
